The famous attraction of the metropolis Auckland is the Sky Tower. From there the view over the city with its Town Hall and War Memorial Museum is magnificent.
Wellington is the capital with the Parliament. You can take the cable car for a wonderful view over the city and to visit the botanical garden.
Christchurch was a bustling city before the earthquake. Two years later (January 2013) the city shows a desolate impression. Some roads are still closed. But it will change. The cathedral, the Arts Centre and other historical buildings will be renovated. Victoria Square will be renewed. At the moment there is a beautiful botanical garden.
