ROVERE
Ti corrono incontro i giorni felici
Fioriranno i narcisi a Rovere
Rovere, Rovere…
OAK
Gian Piero Milanetti
Lying on the center of the Apennines
Between dawn of pearl and Mount Velino,
A village dries its walls in the sun.
A poet sings his song.
Because even the stones here know your name
And the road has your surname
And an old man made of stone knows how to
Recognize a fruit at every season
Oak, Oak ...
Brother Wolf is sleeping in the mountains
Sister fox is waiting your return
And the moon is reflected on the gardens
And the wind is blowing on your memories
Mother Nature here has a friendly face
Among the flowers emerges a water of life
The oak tree whispers with an ancient voice
Throughout there is an endless peace
Oak, Oak ...
And that's where you rediscover your roots
Finds value what you say
And on a plateau riding a bike
The happy days run towards you
Bury My Heart at Rovere
Because that's where he learned to fly
If everything ended in ashes
The daffodils bloom in Rovere
Oak, Oak ...
