Emma: I’m Emma Lovewell
Denis: And I’m Denis Morton, and we’re super excited to be your newest Peloton instructors. I became a fitness instructor through yoga. I was surfing, and I wanted to be better, and yoga gave me more flexibility and strength. And through yoga, I found cycling and cycling was just a great opportunity for me to reach more people and teach another modality.
Emma: I was always a very active kid, I played soccer, lacrosse, I was a lifeguard, and I was a dancer. Through dance, I found fitness, I found indoor cycling, and just fell in love with moving to music.
Denis: I would describe my time on the bike as “supportively demanding.” To me, that means I'm going to challenge you, that I'm going to support you in a way that allows you to succeed. Fitness in my own life has always been super organic and integral. I wasn't allowed to be inside during the day as a kid. I was always climbing trees and playing football, and movement was kind of everything.
Emma: Fitness to me means prioritizing your health and your wellness. In these moments of pushing your mental and physical boundaries, you learn a lot about yourself, so a friend once described my class as “100% intensity, 0% pressure.” I think my class can be really intense, you're definitely going to get a good workout, but it's your choice to be there, so when you choose to be there with me, we'll work hard together.
Denis: I'm most excited about joining the Peloton team because I really see this as the future of fitness, and it's a huge opportunity to reach that many more people in the fitness realm.
Emma: The greatest thing is just finding people that love what you love, which is fitness, and I'm really excited to join that community.
