The 2021 Lexus LC500 is one of the best road cars that money can buy, period. And chopping the roof off takes very little from that experience, while adding volume of one of the world's most perfect engine notes into the cabin. It looks like a concept car, but it's got a stellar, naturally aspirated V8 with a brilliantly responsive gearbox, making it the kind of tech we want to hold on to. Compared to other top-tier GT cars, it's an absolute bargain.

*EDIT* WHOOPS! In the video I erroneously refer to the gearbox as having 8 speeds. It is a 10-speed automatic. I came to this error by driving in "sport" mode 90 percent of the time, which drops the top two gears.
