Talking about Ronin, Kakuzu still seems better in 1v1 situations unless you are probably faster/overpower your opponent. Kakuzu scales defence and since Ronin is attack based, his standards will do little damage the more chakra they have. Ronin shines in 2v2 or 3v3 cause once he starts scaling and getting attacks he steamrolls.
