Aral Sea

Aral Sea was the fourth largest sea in the world, the Soviet scientists recognized that the sea started shrinking since 1961, and finally the water reservoir lost more than 70% of it volume. The level of the salt is very high there; no fish live there at all. Today the area of the lake is the new desert and it got a name Aral Kum.
