Why Console Thermal Paste Needs Replacing (A Common Oversight...)

In this video I will be taking apart an old ps3 and replacing its thermal paste. This is a ps3 my Sister bought used for her kids and it was having bad issues with stuttering, freezing and high fan noise.

It is no wonder though when we take a look at the now about 13 year old thermal paste inside of it...

So the question we asked today was "Do consoles need to have the thermal paste replaced?"

And the answer is a resounding "Yes!!" (At least for ones a few years old.)
