Transit Connect Front Door Latch removal
I show you how to remove the front door latch assembly on a 2011 Ford Transit Connect. You'll need a T20, T30 and 5/16 socket and some basic hand tools to perform this task.
The issue I was experiencing: I couldn't lock the driver side door with the remote and sometimes the entire van wouldn't stay locked, it would unlock as soon as I tried to lock it! Troubleshooting pointed to a suspect door latch assembly.
