__In the city of Krasnoyarsk (N56°02'20,2615" E92°53'35,9622", https://rb.gy/aofu6g) a 25-storey house at 40, Miners' Street burned down on the 21st of September, 2014. The fire occurred on Miners' Street in house #40 (residential complex "New Height" of the construction company "Sibagropromstroi"). At the time of the firefighters' arrival, the fire covered the eastern part of the building from the first to the top floors, the fire spread to the cars parked in the yard. The residents were evacuated from the building, at first there were no reports of any deaths or injuries. The fire was given a fourth rank (out of five). The report that there was a fire in an apartment building at 40, Miners' Street was received at 1:50 PM. The house is 25-storey, with ventilated facades. At 2:20 PM, the fire was assigned rank number four - a fire in technically difficult conditions with the need to attract additional forces. Twenty tank trucks and three ladders worked on site. In the fire area, a large traffic jam gathered on Miners' Street, the street was blocked. In addition, the nearby yards were filled with yawns - according to witnesses, their number continued to grow. The police put up a fence to protect people from falling parts of the facade. Fire had already covered three sides of the building. Aircrafts were involved in extinguishing the burning high-rise. Mi-8 helicopters with spillway devices were used to extinguish the fire, dumping water on the upper floors of the house. According to the press-service, 115 people were evacuated from the building, there were no casualties. From the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations 58 people and 26 items of equipment were involved. A temporary accommodation point was organized for the residents of the burnt-out building in the neighboring school #150, located at 95, Alekseev Str. A hot meal was organized for all those, who arrived there. Firefighters evacuated a woman with three children from the building, who remained in their apartment at a time, when the fire had already engulfed the entire house. The area of the fire in the house at that time was 1,500 square metres, and the fire was given the highest difficulty number. Extinguishing was complicated by the hidden burning under the siding, which covered the entire house. At 5:34 PM, the fire was localized on an area of 2,000 square metres. A mobile regional police headquarters was deployed at the site of the fire, and more than a hundred officers were involved in the protection of public order. The scene of the incident and the premises of school #150 were taken under 24-hour guard, where the evacuated residents of the house were temporarily placed. The staff bus for the victims was used by police officers to recover documents, lost in the fire. By that time, the traffic on Miners' Street was partially blocked. Traffic controllers were working on the spot. Two combat stations were created to eliminate the fire, 44 fire trucks and 137 personnel worked. Psychologists worked with the residents of the house. At 5:45 PM, a complete fire suppression was announced on the area of 2,000 square meters. It was impossible to stop the fire for a long time, as the fire spread under the facade panels, passing to the balconies and personal belongings stored on them. The firefighters began to return to their units, with only a few compartments left to dismantle the burned structures. The causes of the fire have still not been identified. More than thirty police officers were guarding a multi-storey residential building on Miners' Street in the regional centre, where the facade of the building caught fire during the day. On each floor of the house, police posts were set up to ensure the protection of public order and provide necessary assistance to the residents. Two mobile outfits of the patrol and post service patrolled the perimeter of the building. The Grenada Health Camp was also guarded 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, where the evacuated residents of the house were temporarily accommodated. Police investigation teams and forensic experts continued to operate at the site of the fire. The police organized the reception of statements from victims. The fire spread to the entire height of the building, as the house was covered with siding and the balconies were decorated with plastic. There were no casualties or deaths from the fire in the high-rise house. The next day, on 22 September 2014, two versions of the reasons for yesterday's fire were considered in a 25-storey residential building at 40, Miners' Street in Krasnoyarsk - a gas leak and arson. As a resident of the house at 115, Alekseev Street, Yevgeniya Hetman said, that last night a general meeting with the residents of the house affected by the fire, representatives of the Mayor's Office, the police and the Ministry of Emergency Situations was held at school #150.
