Kanika always yearned for a traditional Indian wedding. Her dream to be a desi bride and to wear a traditional bridal lehenga led her to becoming a Band Baajaa Bride.

Kanika and Ritik's heart touching love story began in an Anatomy Lab. Their love bloomed initially but then, circumstances forced them to part ways. But as they say, when you're in love , the universe tries to set you up with "the one".That is exactly what happened in their case and they eventually decided to spend the rest of their lives together.

Indian fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee is celebrated for his distinctly modern take on traditional Indian clothing. Born to a Bengali family in Kolkata, Mukherjee initially planned for a career in medicine, but was drawn to the National Institute of Fashion Technology, which he attended. Since 1999, he has sold designer merchandise using the label Sabyasachi. Mukherjee is one of the Associate Designer Members of Fashion Design Council of India and the youngest board member of the National Museum of Indian Cinema.
