This is the sixteenth and final lecture in the cognitive neuroscience course. One of the most elusive problems that neuroscientists face is defining and understanding consciousness. While it is difficult to say what consciousness is, lots of work has demonstrated what it isn't and what constraints exist on its ability to operate.
