His walk across America route took him from Asbury Park, New Jersey, across the United States of America, all the way to Venice Beach, California, which he reached on October 18, 2019.
The trek across the U.S. is by no means an easy one — and Posner experienced hardships along the way. After losing his father in 2017 and his friend Avicii in 2018 Posner seriously began thinking about taking the journey across America on foot. Posner shared the three reasons why he walking across America: first to 'enjoy life and help others enjoy theirs,' secondly to 'be as authentic to other people as possible,' and lastly to 'help others experience transcendence.'
