Audi A3 door won't open - diagnosis and repair

Here I work on an #Audi A3 with a #door that won't open. This 2009 Audi A3 1.9 TDi Sportback (8PA model code) had about 150,000 miles and the rear passenger door wouldn't lock (if unlocked) or unlock (if locked). Most of the time it was stuck unlocked. The driver's door and front passenger door also had intermittent locking / unlocking problems.

There were a number of fault codes stored. The video goes on to show inspection of the door #wiring harness and identification of several broken and damaged wires. It goes on to show fixing the problem with a replacement section of wiring harness, spliced onto the existing wires using solder sleeves.

Finally it goes on to confirm fixing of the fault with a functional test and lack of the originally identified fault codes using VCDS.
