Before his “blitzkrieg” style of drumming added to the band’s driving signature sound, the drummer born Marc Bell was already a name in the New York music scene for his work with bands such as Richard Hell and the Voidoids and Dust. From “I Wanna Be Sedated” and the cult film Rock ‘n’ Roll High School to his struggles with his bandmates and alcoholism, Punk Rock Blitzkrieg is the story of a punk rock epoch from the only living Ramone in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
