Godzilla vs Kong is one of the most anticipated movies of next year, with it being a major point in Warner Bros’ “Monsterverse”. Combat between the two giants has been teased ever since the release of Godzilla in 2014, with Kong and Godzilla having a storied history on the big screen. While the two may derive from different origins, the two have since become synonymous with one another and fans are eager to see how their battle plays out in the new versions of the characters. The movie will undoubtedly be a huge step in the Monsterverse and will have ramifications for the future of the franchise. But one thing we don’t know is- why are the two fighting? While there isn’t a clear answer- we at Screen Rant like to discuss a good theory- because that’s just what we do best.
