FLOW - Days (Eureka Seven OP1) Piano

Decided to make this cause FLOW is legendary. They might've used almost the same chord progressions for like 4 or 5 songs (the best one being Colors imo), but they make it work so well every time. I'll definitely make more of this stuff in the future.

So I had some writer's block while making this. Originally, I had a straightforward Alberti bass in the left hand (+ variants of it), which it was pretty plain, but there was also no need to be ridiculously virtuosic like I had done with more intense arrangements -- that would come off as too artificial and overcomplicated for a nostalgic song like this. Since most of the melody was already offbeat, I decided to go further with the idea, emphasizing offbeats in the left hand, jazzing it up with swings/grace notes + the occasional dissonance.

I also created several inner voices (one of which I inverted with the main melody at 0:11 during the reprise), which make more explicit the vibe I was getting from the original at a given moment.

There are still some parts I think could be made more interesting, overall I'm pretty happy with the way this turned out.
