i feel like the attention span of the collective internet has always been going down.. but i wonder if there some sort of floor to hit or we will all collectively sink into the age of 2 monitors, listening to some youtuber and music simultaneously, and playing some mindless game (not me i swear) -- i know at least a couple of you wish there was some soulless text-to-speech voice reading this to you while subway surfers is playing in the background

on a completely unrelated note...

windows really only is a good experience for like 4 months before everything slows to a crawl and evertime you open the search bar or search for a file you want to break your storage device in twain and get a new OS... just switched to windows 11 like 1.5 months ago after happily using linux mint for 6 months and while the applications you can now use are amazing and gaming is basically plug and play.. the file managment is EVIL;;; im typing this as i simply refresh a folder and the epic green bar loves to epiclyy troll you and slow to nothing right at the end... its still not done.. right now i want nothing more but switch back to linux but thats goona take like a week to get situated and i will have to adjust to just linux compatible programs.. ive heard of people just using VMs for all their windows needs but at the rate i use windows-only programs i might as well live in that OS.. . plus my computer is not nearly well-specc'd to constantly run VMs.. so for now i'll just stew in anger and watch the green bar tick forward.. :( OMG ITS STILL NOT DONE
