Rituals and assorted religious practices are multifarious, promising all sorts of material and “other-worldly” gains. But what is the real result of these practices? A divergent mind. A mind that is constantly focusing on external gains will never be able to attain the Ultimate, Supreme Reality – our inner Self.
Swamiji brilliantly connects shlokas from Srimad Bhagavatam and Mundakopanishad, with the pivotal verse in Bhagavad Gita, 2.41, giving us step-by-step instructions on how to own and live these shlokas. Bringing forth a new level of clarity on what it really means to have a resolute intelligence, Swamiji gives us a glimpse of what he feels when chanting these verses - “like a thousand full moons arising on a new moon day”.
