In this investigation documentary, I put 6 brokers to the test and give you a structured and detailed way to approach any broker so you can pick one that is right for YOU.

SUMMARY:

After carrying out a fairly extensive investigation on the six brokers, I came to the following conclusion:
Integrity has always been very high on my values so I like to work with people who also have integrity high on their values.
I see everyone I work with as an extension of me and my trading business, including my brokers. They don't work for me, I don't work for them, we are a partnership.
I like to have regular communication with a a trusted account manager, I like to have assurance and insurance that my money will be safe
(all brokers to consider should be regulated now so this was pretty much the same across the board), I like to be able to access my cash
within 2-3 days MAXIMUM, I like tight spreads and I like the broker to honor those spreads even if it means paying slightly more at times than other volatile times, I like
to have a nice simple control panel and trading centre with the platform that allows me to place trades quickly and easily, I like to see rapid refresh and good latency with
data feeds when monitoring bid/ask prices and finally, I like to work with a broker who is focused on education.

With the above in mind, based on my own values, I have scored all of the brokers in this experiment based on my short snapshot witnessing and opinions.

In this experiment, Core Spreads scored low on their platform (charting side of things) but overall scored the highest.
THINGS TO NOTE:

Firstly do this experiment based on YOUR highest values.
Check that you have verified your ID AND address at the engagement stage to save you delays in getting your withdrawals
Check that the broker CAN actually link to your preferred charting platform if this is important to you
Ask if there is a time-out log out on the web based versions of their platforms. This can be VERY annoying especially when in a short term day trade.
Check of your lead to the broker was through a dodgy recommendation from an "educator"
