King of the Hammers, Finishing the Toughest Race in the World

Every year the cars are built stronger, so every year King of the Hammers hits back with a course that is even harder. This year was no exception. More than 100 hopeful drivers started the day running out into the Johnson Valley desert, only 35 crossed the finish line in time. Team Mickey Thompson left the lake bed with reason to celebrate, claiming two finishes this year with Team Genright's Jordan Pellegrino in the 98 and Christopher Paiva in the 906 car.
