2019 Yamaha YZF-R3 Full Road Test & Review

I take a longer look at Yamaha's updated for 2019 YZF-R3 beginner machine, which benefits from a host of improvements to the suspension and styling, as well as ergonomics.

This delivers a new version of the YZF-R3 that's better than ever for those after a real sportsbike inspired beginner machine that ideally blends both beginner friendly sportsbike handling and ergonomics, alongside great performance and plenty of fun.

Updated 37mm forks are found along with a stiffer shock on the rear, with the gold forks standing out. New styling is a closer match to the current R1 and R6 machinery, with a revised tank now lower and allowing an easier than ever ability to lock in when riding fast, while 'bars are lowered by 22mm, with an LCD dash looking modern, with clear information.
