Boston University Commencement 2022
The 149th All-University Commencement Exercises honored graduates from September 2021, January 2022, May 2022, and August 2022. Robert Woodward, Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative journalist and associate editor of The Washington Post, delivered the Commencement Address and received an honorary degree. Others who received honorary degrees were Marylou Sudders, Massachusetts Secretary of Health and Human Services and BU alumna, Gay J. McDougall, international human rights advocate, and Richard Shipley, president of the Shipley Foundation, BU Trustee Emeritus and alumnus.
