Singapore's sustainable rooftop farms prove we can produce food anywhere

Major cities - home to a majority of the global population - don't have the space to grow the food their people need.

At least, that used to be the case.

The proliferation of rooftop farms (along with new advances in hydroponics) brings the farmlands into the cities and let them produce food locally - no matter how crowded they are.

ComCrop, a Singapore-based rooftop farming company, has opened farms that localize food production in the nation-state. The company aims to provide a model for other cities now working secure their food supply chains against future pandemics and other disruptions.
