Deadly venomous Cape cobra (Naja nivea) is a common snake species in the Southwestern part of Africa. Cape cobras are very variable in color, they can be black, brown, reddish or yellow. Cape cobras live in dry arid habitats of South Africa, Namibia and Botswana. These venomous snakes often come close to humans and snakebites are quite common.
