The Leatherman Tread is one of those things that a lot of people think is a total gimmick - and if you're looking for it to replace actual tools, then it probably is. I see the Leatherman Tread as more of a last ditch tool, cool gadget, and manly watchband. I'd say I own one mostly because I'm a gadget-aholic, but the bracelet/watchband does have some practical uses.
