Oil discoveries in E.Africa a major economic boost for the region - Part 1
New discoveries of oil & gas in East Africa promise to be a major economic boost for the region. According to British Explorer, Tullow Oil, Tanzania may have 40-billion cubic metres of gas. That is expected to double by 2015, Uganda has an estimated 3.5-billion barrels of oil while Kenya's deposits may be up to 10-billion barrels. CNBC Africa's Philani Nyalunga compiled this report.
