Labor will continue to force renewables ‘down the throats of people’

Shadow Environment Minister Jonathon Duniam says the drop in support for Labor over its climate agenda proves the zealots will never be “appeased”.

Mr Duniam told Sky News host Peta Credlin that Labor should “abandon” trying to appease the climate zealots.

“It proves that if a government goes about its business continuing to ignore what actually matters to the majority of Australians … you are going to lose the support of the voters.

“So hopefully … Labor will adjust its course.

“But I highly doubt it, I think they’re going to stick to the plan and that is to force renewables down the throats of people when they can’t afford it.”
