This is the full story of Egon Mayer, quite possibly Germany's greatest fighter ace. With over 50 Spitfire Kills and 25 Heavy Bomber kills, he was easily one of the most valuable pilots the Luftwaffe had and was responsible for the tactic that took down countless B-17 Flying Fortresses in World War II.
