New Audi A7 interior
There are digital screens aplenty in the new A7, with a 12.3-inch screen replacing the instruments ahead of the driver, a large 10.1-inch infotainment and media screen, and an 8.6-inch screen that sits below it with haptic controls that customers will use for climate control and other functions.
Audi says it is more refined than the last car, with added comfort and the option to specify either two large rear seats or three regular-sized ones. The car will also soon feature Level 3 autonomous driving, meaning – where the law allows – the A7 can essentially drive itself with no input from the driver, allowing owners to relax in traffic or on the motorway and let the car do the driving.
It will also have remote parking ability, amongst a host of other options, including four sound systems, a head-up display, Matrix full LED headlights and four suspension options.
Thanks to its redesigned window-line, the A7 looks taller than before. In reality it’s only a difference of 2mm, but it means the latest model has more head and knee room than the car it replaces.

Interior
Inside, the new A7 will be heavily influenced by the Prologue Concept but also borrow technology from the new A8. That means that the latest version of Audi’s Virtual Cockpit will sit in place of the traditional dials. Similar to the new A8, the A7 might lose the handy MMI rotary controller and replace it with gesture controls and a responsive touchscreen. Voice control will also be available so you can change the severity of your massage seat without lifting a finger.
The new car could lose its physical climate control knobs and switches – replacing them with another touchscreen display as seen on the Prologue Concept and the new A8. That would reduce the number of buttons on the dashboard even further, making way for large expanses of high-quality materials and a more minimalistic design.
