Mario Kart: Double Dash Alternate Routes and Shortcuts!

As any Mario Kart game does, Double Dash has a lot of alternate routes and shortcuts that you can take. I got inspired to do this video after seeing Mari0Central's video on this. There are a lot of inaccuracies in his video on what he thinks is faster and on what saves time. I am a speedrunner of this game (although not the best) and know which sections save time and which do not. As I said in the video, most of these alternate routes you can take do not save you time and are not worth taking in a speedrun setting. If you are playing casually with your friends, feel free to take these alternate routes (although not the one I show in bowser's castle. That one is literally pointless)!
