Python Leaps From Pond To Catch A Deer

This is the incredible moment a python leaps from a pond to catch a wild deer as it bent down to drink water. The unfortunate animal was with several other members of its herd as they stopped to rehydrate at the pool of water in Maharashtra, India. CCTV footage shows how the deadly snake sensed its opportunity and jumped with lightning speed at the deer - plunging its fangs into its head. The python then coiled around the deer as it strangled it on the muddy banks of the swamp in the Karwa forest. It then swallowed its victim.
