I've been a Quad Lock user on my motorcycles for a number of years, but have seen an increasing number of reports of vibration damage to expensive smartphones, particularly as an Apple user, the iPhone. The Optical Image stabilisation mechanisms are complex and can be fragile. Given what they are trying to achieve it makes sense that the vibration from mounting it on a motorcycle could cause damage.
