ART JOURNAL Using Amsterdam Pearl Set / Black Background - Aurora Borealis

Quick tutorial: Art journal page using Amsterdam Pearl Set, inspired by Aurora Borealis (Northern lights).

My interpretation of northern lights is more blue than the image that I used as my inspiration, so I used blue paint and just a little bit green. I primed the page with matt black acrylic paint. You could use black gesso as well. Pearlescent paints - or metallic paints - have lovely sheen when used on black background.

Quick and simple art journaling idea for beginners or anyone, who wants to make something with the Amsterdam Pearl Set or blue and green metallic acrylic paints!
