A nice chilly sunny November morning perfect for venturing out to explore the pine forest for fatwood! Now with fall nearing it's end. it is a great time to take advantage of the fallen leaves. Before fall there is green everywhere covering and hiding all that golden goodness! While my hunt for fatwood/pine knots started off slow and kinda so so, just as I was loading the car I spot the MOTHER LOAD OF HIGH OCTANE MI GOLD FATWOOD. ("High Octane" = Red pine fatwood with just the right age and richness)
