Ninelie - Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress ED [Piano]

Hey everyone!
I am back from my Shanghai Live Concert on the 1st may and I really enjoyed my time there! I also finally started to watch some anime series from this spring season and Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress (or Koutetsujou no Kabaneri) was one of the animes on my watchlist.

And upon hearing the full version of Ninelie, I decided to arrange this piece as well. (looks like many anime pianists have made a piano cover this song on YouTube as well! Go check them out)
Anyway, since I was extremely hyped by this song, I actually managed to arrange this piece in record time (sheet was created in only 1 day in a continuous 12 hour session, plus a few days of minor editing works afterwards)

The arrangement turned out quite interesting because it contains many elements of surprise. One example is the first chorus: Usually, the first chorus is usually the part of a song, where everything gets really loud (aka "awesome bass kicks in"). But this time I decided to slowly introduce the chorus in a piano pianissimo - basically resembling the sound of chimes - and gradually building up the dynamic.

There is also a very interesting "ghost hand" trick in this video. Pay attention to the left hand at 3:28 the keys are pressed down very slowly and doesn't play any notes. However, it still maintains the reverb of the previously played notes, even if you switch the pedal. Basically, I am imitating the middle pedal of a grand piano, which has a very similar function.

Btw, according to some people on twitter, I am an "evil person" (lololol) because I created a passage in the arrangement, where you have to play 5 individual voices with only two hands. https://twitter.com/Animenzzz/status/730693259136253952
But honestly, this actually sounds worse than it is - after a bit practice, it's completely manageable.

Anyway, this is still considered as a "special upload", because after this video, I will continue with my top 6 shounen anime series, and the 4th and next video is going to be the "WE ARE!", the first OP song of One Piece.
