The transformative power of volunteering and mentorship | Kristin K. Hawkins | TEDxLahoreWomen

Volunteering and mentorship are two free tools that can help each of us have a transformative impact on our community. Participating in community volunteer work lets us step into new roles and see ourselves differently. Through volunteering, we get to re-define ourselves, becoming change-makers and leaders. The more we volunteer, the more we develop skills, self-confidence, and knowledge – benefiting both ourselves and our community. And one of the most valuable ways we can volunteer is by creating mentorship opportunities for others. All of us should both have a mentor and be a mentor. Ms. Kristin K.
