The Icon Airmada is a new helmet in the Icon line up and joins the ranks of impressive new gear Icon seems to be constantly rolling out. The Airmada is the sportiest option to date from Icon, and uses much of the DNA from the Alliance helmet that has been a rockstar lid from the get-go. The fitting shape of the Airmada is also long oval, but with a fit that is more snug and all encompassing, or what we might dare to call race-fit. If the Alliance has the Icon Sport Fit, the Airmada has the Icon Attack Fit and is better suited to higher speeds. This new helmet now has 4 different shell sizes and 5 EPS liners, giving the rider a more custom fit out of the box. This also allows a rider who typically takes a smaller size helmet, to wear the lightest, smallest, most aerodynamic shell available. A new face shield called Icon Optics is making it's debut on the Airmada that uses an easy shield change mechanism and provides a wider range of peripheral vision. A new vent scheme is optimized for higher speeds, but is still extremely effective at city speeds, making this the best venting helmet we've seen from Icon. Offered in a variety of subtle solids or wicked graphics, Icon has once again raised the bar.
