Alexei Navalny’s widow, Yulia Navalnaya, has said she was not sure Navalny's funeral would be peaceful during a speech at the European parliament in Strasbourg.

Navalny’s family and allies have accused the Kremlin of delaying the handover of his body and 'blackmailing' his mother into agreeing to a private funeral without the general public in attendance. Navalnaya called the Russian president 'a bloody monster'.
