2018 Commencement Undergraduate Ceremony
Undergraduate Ceremony: May 25
The undergraduate commencement ceremony will be held on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. Candidates for bachelor’s degrees will be invited to participate in this program with the chancellor, deans, faculty and honorary degree recipients. Each graduate will be given 5 guest tickets. Students do not need tickets; their name card serves as entry to the venue. Students may submit a request for extra tickets using this link. Extra tickets will be distributed on a first come, first served basis and are not guaranteed.
This ceremony will take place at the TD Garden, 100 Legends Way, Boston MA.
Arrival Time and Ceremony Schedule for Graduates
7 a.m.: Students should enter the building via Legends Way of the TD Garden for check-in and lineup. Click here for map. Be sure to bring your preprinted name card. Hold onto it; you will need it during the ceremony. Have your cap, gown, and tassel with you, and give your tickets to your guests prior to entering the Garden. Guests will not be permitted to enter via this door. Please note: You will be walking through a metal detector. Bags will be checked and may not be allowed inside the building.
8:45 a.m.: The academic procession begins.
9:30 a.m.: The ceremony begins.
At the ceremony, all degrees will be conferred, and all students will cross the stage. Please return to your seat after your name is called. Diploma covers will be distributed at the ceremony; actual diplomas will be mailed.
1 p.m.: (approximately): The ceremony ends.
Arrival Times for Guests
Doors will open at 7 a.m., and seating is general admission. Tickets are required for anyone age 2 years and older. Please be sure your guests have their tickets in hand. Each ticket will have a unique barcode that will admit one person only to the venue. Please allow ample time to navigate the streets of Boston, park, and walk to the TD Garden, as heavy traffic is expected the day of commencement. If you choose to take public transportation, please check www.mbta.com for schedules and updates.

Photography
GradImages will be on site to take your photo during the student line up and robing portion of the day. You will be able to purchase prints by mail or email, but you are not obliged to do so.
Disability Accommodations
If you or a guest requires disability accommodations, please click this link to submit a request by May 11. Please note: Wheelchair escorts are available for guests who may need assistance getting to and/or from their seats, but escorts must be prearranged through the TD Garden Guest Services Office for ADA at 617.624.1750.
Security Measures
For the safety and security of our graduates and guests, all bags are subject to search. We recommend that neither you nor your guests bring bags to the TD Garden on commencement day. If you or your guests choose to bring a bag, it will be searched before admission to the TD Garden. We will not have a bag holding area. In accordance with TD Garden policies, cameras/video without a detachable lens are permitted. No wrapped gifts or helium balloons will be allowed into the arena. Flowers will be permitted. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.
