As Russia's invasion of Ukraine intensifies, top Indian-American US adviser and a key architect of Washington's punitive economic sanctions against Moscow, Daleep Singh, will arrive in India for a 2-day visit today. His visit coincides with Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov making a two-day official visit to India tomorrow. The visit is the highest level of engagement between the Indian and Russian governments since Moscow launched its military offensive against Ukraine on February 24.
