PM Modi In Palamu: Farmers Are A Vote Bank For Congress | ABP News

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday laid the foundation of several irrigation projects in Jharkhand, including Rs 2,391.36 crore Mandal dam, that will provide irrigation to 19,604-hectare area in Palamu and Garhwa districts. Modi, prior to addressing a public rally here, also handed over keys of houses to five beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. The Mandal dam, work on which began in 1972, but was stalled since 1993, will be built on the North Koel river in Barwadih block of Latehar district.

प्रधान मंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने शनिवार को झारखंड में 2,391.36 करोड़ रुपये के मंडल बांध सहित कई सिंचाई परियोजनाओं की नींव रखी, जो पलामू और गढ़वा जिलों में 19,604 हेक्टेयर क्षेत्र को सिंचाई प्रदान करेंगे। मोदी ने यहां एक सार्वजनिक रैली को संबोधित करने से पहले प्रधानमंत्री आवास योजना के तहत पांच लाभार्थियों को मकानों की चाबियां सौंपी। मंडल बांध, जिस पर काम 1972 में शुरू हुआ था, लेकिन 1993 से ठप था, लातेहार जिले के बरवाडीह ब्लॉक में उत्तरी कोयल नदी पर बनाया जाएगा।
