MPPT vs DSSR20 Solar Challenge | Do we really need an MPPT Solar Charge Controller?

MPPT vs DSSR20, side by side challenge.
With my new batteries still a couple weeks away I want to expand on the brief solar charge testing I did earlier.
Flat mounted panels, low winter sun, clouds and rain for 14 days while I test the relative performance of my Epever MPPT Solar Charge Controller and my DSSR20s.
