New research offers hope to those with corneal blindness
Researchers from Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Massachusetts Eye and Ear, and Boston Children's Hospital have developed a new procedure called cultivated autologous limbal epithelial cell transplantation (CALEC) that offers hope for patients with corneal blindness in one eye.
