The Panamanian Capesize Bulker Wakashio, which ran aground on the reefs of Point Desny last July 25, 2020, has finally snapped into two parts.
The Government of Mauritius has declared that 3900 metric tons of fuel oil on board the Wakashio has been pumped out and transferred to shore facilities.
