Golden Child Disorder

In this video, we are discussing the term " Golden child disorder". Do you know what this is? I noticed this some years ago and I also know no one talks about it. We are conscious of telling others the truth, perhaps it's not our place to. But as a parent, it got me thinking.
Do we really know when we cross the line between a child having potential before creating the golden child disorder. I believe it's an important discussion to check where we are, to balance our expectations as carers and parents.

At watered seed, we emphasise the importance of nurturing our children. Part of what we need to watch out for is away from false nurturing or building unrealistic potential of our children.
