SA Agulhas II docks at Gqeberha, admiration from Nelson Mandela Bay students
The SA Agulhas II has docked in the Port of Port Elizabeth in Gqeberha and has been viewed and admired by many students from the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro. The vessel opened its door to over 1000 school learners where they learned about marine research, saw various marine labs, and took a tour of the vessel itself. The SA Agulhas II serves as a supply vessel to three research bases in Antarctica and also does its own research on board.
