Tim hops on his bike and goes for a quick spin!!

First up, a 1/10th scale bicycle, even with working brakes, and you can turn the pedals and the back wheel will spin. Looks like the chain is actually a rubber band, but hey - you can't have everything...

A wind up toy of a 'penny farthing' and a distinguished gentleman riding it, dressed in top hat and tails! Back in Victorian times, the penny was quite a large coin, and the farthing (worth one quarter of a penny) was much smaller. Although as Tim points out, the small rear wheel - the 'farthing' - is actually a pair of wheels, no double to make the toy stable. The original penny farthing bicycles were really very tall, and the saddle must have been nearly six feet from the ground, so getting on and off must have required a bit of skill!

The next wind up is a stunt bike which whizzes across the table and then does a 360 degree flip, before shooting off again.

A motorbike that morphs into ... a yoyo! Tim acquired this Uk designed toy about 20 years ago, and says he has never seen anything quite like it either before or since.

OK, this one is a tricycle so three wheels rather than two. The motor does not work, but when you push it along, the little bell still rings. And then we have Donald Duck on a tricycle, with a propeller on his head!

A novelty panda on a unicycle (ok, just one wheel!) who whizzes around, first forwards then in circles.

Then a couple of scooters which are also... lighters!

Finally a German toy from at least 30 years ago. A unicyclist on the high wire, who pedals to and fro.
