Ranger EX Pixhawk Take off and Landing Evaluations
The Ranger EX used to be difficult to take off and land due to its small wheels.
After switching to a larger 11.4cm wheels, we are able to do 9 take off and landings safely, no crash or flip overs whatsoever.
We highly recommend you to reinforce all the aileron, elevator and rudder hinges with tape and hot glue. Larger wheels will make take off and landings tremendously easier.
Also, given this drone has yawing tendency at low speed, operators must have preparations to use rudder on take offs and landings.
