CPHFW stands with Ukraine and hopes to continue to build stronger bridges between both organizations in order to support the industry to continue to grow and flourish in times of war.

SUPPORT UKRAINIAN FASHION Initiative
Despite the Russian war in Ukraine, Ukrainian fashion designers continue to create in challenging conditions and the Ukrainian fashion industry demonstrates its resilience and resistance.

After the full-scale Russian invasion, Ukrainian Fashion Week launched the "Support Ukrainian Fashion" Initiative to help Ukrainian designers. Thus, the 51st and 52nd seasons of UFW for the first time during its 25 years of history took place, not in Kyiv, but on the international catwalks, allowing Ukrainian fashion brands to introduce their collections created during the war on the international fashion scene within 14 professional events. Within the “Support Ukrainian Fashion” Initiative by UFW 52 Ukrainian designers have introduced their collections within fashion shows and presentations at 10 fashion weeks in Europe and the USA: at Copenhagen Fashion Week, London Fashion Week, Berlin Fashion Week, and others.

It is extremely important to give visibility to Ukrainian fashion brands now in the background of the ongoing war providing the opportunity for them to get orders on the European and international markets. It therefore will save companies, businesses, and workplaces of hundreds of workers (seamstresses, clothes, constructors, stylists, managers) and support the Ukrainian fashion industry during the war.

Designers Digitally Presenting

GASANOVA is a couture and pret-a-porter brand that combines a love of comfort, quality, and uniqueness. The brand comes from Donetsk, where back in 2013 it was made by designer Elvira Gasanova, a dentist by education and an organizer by spirit.
At the moment, the brand produces many different garments: the Wedding line, Sport, Crystal, and Casual. The pieces by Gasanova were worn by Gigi Hadid, Kourtney Kardashian, Irina Sheik, Lais Ribeiro, Bleona Qereti, Toni Braxton, Vanessa Hudgens, Toni Garrn, and more. Gasanova is about fabrics and detailed jewellery, crystals, and a perfect fitting.
GUNIA PROJECT
We are Nataliia and Maria, creative directors and co-founders of Gunia Project. We have worked together for a long time in the fashion industry. The creative duo was formed in 2017 during volunteer work with the Center of Folk Culture "Ivan Honchar Museum".
We were inspired by the idea of modernizing Ukrainian art and creating a modern Ukrainian souvenir. The first product to be released under the brand name was the Hutsul wool coat Gunya, which is created on hand machines in the Carpathians. It is in honour of this product that the Gunia Project brand got its name. Today, the brand does not limit itself to the framework but creates collections of exceptional things for everyday use, inspired by Ukrainian culture and heritage.
DOMANOF
DOMANOF was established in 2008 in Odesa. And since expanded in Ukraine and Europe. Was created by Dima and Alyona two designers and co-owners. The first collection of DOMANOF was shown in 2008 on Ukrainian Fashion Week. The outstanding feature of the brand is its wish to experiment and combine clean lines and natural quality fabrics. Designers always dive into humans’ inner feelings to show that clothes have souls.

JULIYA KROS
Juliya Perekrestova, a designer and founder of the brand Juliya Kros, lives and works in Ukraine. From early childhood, she had a dream to create clothes, so for her favourite dolls, she used to sew entire collections of dresses from the remnants of her grandmother's fabrics. A little later, in her youth, the future designer created clothes for herself. After graduating as a lawyer and working in a totally different sphere, Julia wouldn’t stop dreaming of becoming a designer and starting her own brand.
In the summer of 2015, her first collection was created and presented at the Ukrainian Fashion Week in the SS2016 season. Juliya is interested in the Japanese modelling course which determined the style of the Juliya Kros brand in the future - intellectual deconstructivism.
