The World is Our Neighborhood | Jessica Nabongo | TEDxDetroit
I have been to EVERY country in the world and what I learned is that most people are good. Home for me is in people and that is why I consider everyone to be my neighbor and above all, we must be good neighbors to each other and to the planet. We are seven billion neighbors sharing this single neighborhood called Earth.
Jessica Nabongo is a travel expert, photographer, writer and entrepreneur whose work is about making the travel space more inclusive. The former United Nations consultant and London School of Economics alumna got her start with traveling when she was four years old, and recently became the first documented black woman to travel to every country in the world. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
